Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Associate (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As an integral part of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing electrical systems for various projects, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Lead and manage medium to large-sized electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards

Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components

Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs

Manage project finances and resources to meet agreed-upon deliverables within budget

Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development

Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical engineering practices and methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council accredited preferred)

Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in design and project management

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including local Singapore regulations

Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools

Experience with BIM software packages and their application in electrical design

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
