　　What youll do

　　SAP BTP ABAP Environment is the SAP Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for ABAP Cloud development that enables developers to leverage their traditional on-premises ABAP know-how to develop and run ABAP Cloud applications in the SAP Business Technology Platform, either as extension to SAP software or as standalone application. SAP BTP ABAP Environment is built on- and leveraging the latest cloud technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

　　In our unit you develop stable Transport Processes for ABAP artifacts in the cloud using common transport functionality and GIT based mechanisms. For this you are focusing on stable end to end processes providing functionality including User Interfaces.

　　You develop functionality to ensure the Lifecycle Stability of Customer Extensions in our Cloud Products during Upgrade and Transport Processes focusing on seamless Operability of Development, Quality and Production systems. You develop ABAP based functionality to guarantee stable SAP APIs and provide this functionality to customer/partner development as well. In addition, you ensure that only these APIs are used in the cloud environment. e.g., via syntax exits.

　　You should have a sound technical background with a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

　　Having experience in at least one modern programming language is a must as is fluency in German and English.

　　You should have a result-driven working habit, be a passionate team-player and be able to focus on quality and customer success.

　　You will work with ten highly motivated colleagues; the Extensibility 1 team of ABAP Platform Layer 3 Application Services 3 is located in Walldorf, and team language is German.
