Kelly is seeking an Associate Buyer for an approximate 3-4 month temporary position in Jesup, GA . This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and create an impression with a leading area company. This role is onsite during training and hybrid work will be available once you are fully trained. Our great partner is looking for an experienced buyer or strong administrator to assist during a transition period. SAP experience is a huge plus!

　　Pay Rate: $25 - $35 per hour depending on experience.

　　Responsibilities include but not limited to:

　　• Analyzing quotations and issuing purchase orders for procurement of assigned materials and services

　　• Placing orders, issuing releases, closing orders, and performing other transactions necessary to meet material and service requirements and support supplier management activities

　　• Expediting and monitoring orders when necessary and arranging transportation

　　• Following up on outstanding transactions

　　• Coordinating the creation, routing, and approval of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure that proper authorization is received prior to placing an order or authorizing payment

　　• Developing data to support analysis of supplier performance for adherence to delivery schedules, accuracy of shipments to order, and end-user problems

　　• Managing data and reports to support the analysis of category and commodity spending levels to support the development of sourcing strategies

　　• Handling additional duties as assigned

　　Skills and requirements:

　　• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

　　• 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement is highly preferred

　　• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

　　• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with purchasing software and/or SAP highly preferred

　　• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
