　　York College, founded in 1966, is a center of academic excellence in the heart of Jamaica, Queens. 　　The Assistant Professor is a full-time, tenure-track position in the Physician Assistant program at York College, CUNY. The program is seeking highly qualified applicants who will serve as principal faculty member, with full participation in teaching in areas of expertise, program administration, development, and assessment of curricular content, student advisement, and engaging in productive scholarly research. The successful candidate will also be involved in student recruitment and admission activities, and provide service to the college and the Health Professions Department, in addition to other related duties.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Minimum of a Master’s degree required. Doctoral degree preferred.

　　Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or a Physician who graduated from an accredited medical school

　　New York State Physician Assistant Registration (or eligibility) or Medical License (MD/DO)

　　A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience

　　A minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience (includes clinical preceptorship)

　　COMPENSATION

　　$90,375 - $99,532 - Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
