The duties of the position include basic and preclinical development of new therapies for nervous system tumors associated with NF1 such as brain tumors, neurofibromas and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors. The position will require submitting and managing grants, hiring research staff, staff supervision, and publishing work in peer reviewed journals. The applicant will work collaboratively with the larger NF1 research community at the University of Minnesota and actively participate in the activities of the Division and Department. Qualifications This individual will possess a PhD or MD/PhD and have 5+ years of research experience related to NF1.
