  Your role at Clorox:

  Assist in the management of the global Financial Reporting Controls process, supporting the cross functional process and sub-process owners (domestic and international) through process changes, completion of quarterly direct testing and successful year-end external audits. This position will provide global support and leadership on internal controls, specifically control design, operation and testing approaches primarily for existing processes but also for system implementations and new processes.

  In this role, you will:

  Assist in the management of the global Financial Reporting Controls process, supporting the cross functional process and sub-process owners (domestic and international) through process changes, completion of quarterly direct testing and successful year-end internal and external audits

  Assist in the management of the annual SOX refresh and audit cycle.

  Assist in the maintenance and stewardship of process documentation (control matrices and process flows).

  Provide global support, consultation, and leadership on internal controls in compliance with SOX.

  Coordinate and represent the company with external auditors and consultants in the compliance with SOX.

  What we look for:

  Minimum 4 years of relevant professional finance and business process experience.

  Big 4 accounting experience preferred

  CPA/CISA preferred.

  Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Regulation and recent PCAOB requirements

  Strong understanding of the internal controls' framework by COSO

  Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements

  Ability to lead cross-functional change initiative and form proven business relationships across functions

  Shown success with developing and/or leading transactional, business processes, and ITGCs that result in GAAP compliance as well as process efficiency and effectiveness

  Ability to assess processes and systems to identify key control activities, determine whether they are functioning accurately, and identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness

  Lead and develop the FRC team to understand the business and drive process improvements and efficiency, especially as it related to tools and technology

  Strong project management skills and be able to work independent as a self-starter.

  Strong verbal and written communication skills

  Undergraduate business or analytical/B.S. degree

  Certified Public Accountant - Preferred

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

  –Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900

  –Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400

  –Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900

  This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
