  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Pay: \$140000 per year - \$160000 peryear At Great Wolf, theAssistant General Managerassists the GeneralManager in driving operational excellence throughout all functions,outlets, and attractions of the lodge. Essential Duties &Responsibilities Oversees Guest Services, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage,Aquatics, Cub Club and Retail Departments Assists Directors inaccomplishing human resources\' objectives by over seeing therecruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling,coaching, counseling, and disciplining effort Communicates jobexpectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing jobcontributions Ensures Departments adequately enforce all policies andprocedures Assists Directors in achieving guest services operationalobjectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategicplans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementingproductivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolvingproblems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining systemimprovements; implementing change Meets financial objective by yieldmanagement; forecasting requirements; assists in preparing an annualbudget; reviews scheduling expenditures; analyzes variances; initiatescorrective actions Maintains customer confidence by maintaining servicelevels; garnering \"repeat\" visits; making the resort a \"familytradition\" Ensures Departments maintain a safe, secure, and healthyenvironment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards andprocedures; complying with legal regulations Updates job knowledge byparticipating in educational opportunities; reading professionalpublications; maintaining personal networks; participating inprofessional organizations Enhances resort reputation by acceptingownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploringopportunities to add value to job accomplishments Ensures Departmentstrain all new employees and retrain current employees Ensures all guestrequests are handled in a professional manner, by reviewing withDirectors weekly Attend weekly directors\' meeting and communicatenecessary information as needed Reviews any inappropriate behaviorfindings by staff with Director and ensures all are recorded properlyBasic Qualifications & Skills Associates degree in Hospitality,Business, related field; or equivalent combination of education andexperience Minimum 5 years leadership in hospitality atdepartment/division director level Minimum 2 years developing andimplementing annual budgets; forecasting revenues and expenses, andgenerating plans to meet expected margins Leadership experience in 2 ormore relevant functions/departments across the business Demonstratedproficiency in Microsoft Office suite Successful completion of criminalbackground check and drug screen Must be open to relocation to multipleGreat Wolf Lodge locations Desired...
