About Assistant Experience Manager

  As Assistant Experience Manager, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

  Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.

  Duties and Responsibilities

  In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Experience department to provide exceptional guest experience, products and services within brand operating standards.

  I will ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.

  I will support the Experience Manager and focus on the rejuvenation of the guests’ experience. Experiences, services and products will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

  I will have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort and understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

  I am able to determine activity rates based on the selling tactics of the resort. I will support and oversee the management of the guest history and profile system in conjunction with the Experience Manager.

  Qualifications

  To execute the position of Assistant Experience Manager, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results.

  I possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management and more than three years’ experience in a similar hotel operational role.

  I am a personally involved, visible and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the property’s prominent position within the market.

  Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including OPERA and CRM platforms and have knowledge on hotel/resort and policies on guest services etc.

  I possess exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a multi-cultural team. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
