Position Summary/Description:
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC -Chapel Hill employees must generally reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Assistant Director of Development should be organized, collaborative, and highly motivated to contribute to the growth of the School of Information and Library Science. The Assistant Director reports to the SILS Associate Dean for Development and will provide full-time support for SILS’s fundraising and alumni relations goals and objectives. The position is responsible for managing key areas of operations within the Department, including stewardship, annual giving, alumni relations, data management, and strategizing with the Associate Dean for all fundraising operations.
Education and Experience:
1-3 years of experience in fundraising and relevant transferable skills.
