The Deli Department Assistant Manager is responsible forensuring employees are providing remarkable guest service to guests atthe deli counter. This individual is a self starter who jumps in toassist with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling of deli items forguests as needed. Additional duties include accurate recordkeeping,customer service, employee relations, expense control, inventory,shrink, public relations, stocking, and control freshness by rotatingremoving out-of-date merchandise. Responsible for directing staff whenin charge of the department to include: directing workload, counseling,training, performance evaluations, and supervision.
