Workindependently once work direction has been provided.Utilize computers to enter transactions and validate information. Be involvedwith identifying and correcting problems with existing processes. Identify andimplement opportunities for improvement. Apply technical expertise on aspecified range of manufactured products and processes. Assure compliance withinternal and external policies and regulations.

  General Duties/Responsibilities:Role model to others through adherence to all company policies and procedures.Enforce health, safety and quality regulations; ensure compliance withcompany policies and procedures.Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production orprocessing of sub-assemblies and finished goods.Read and analyse charts, work orders, production schedules, and otherrecords and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate currentproduction estimates and outputs.Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities withinor between departments.Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequencesto meet production goals.Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Ensure new employees receive proper training and are effectively integratedinto production teams.Observe work and monitor metrics and other indicators to ensure that operatorsconform to production or processing standards.Confer with management and/or subordinates to resolve worker problems,complaints, or grievances.Interpret specifications, prints, work orders, and company policies andprocedures for workers.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

  Skills and Abilities:Basic knowledge of statistical process control.Basic knowledge of quality management in a medical device manufacturingenvironment.Demonstrated leadership abilities in motivating employees to achieve goals.Ability to exercise independent judgment.Demonstrated positive, direct, proactive approach to employee problem solving.Ability to ensure regulations for quality, health, and safety standardsare met.Demonstrated computer proficiency.Ability to develop, train, and monitor employee and team development.Demonstrated effective written and verbal comprehension and communicationskills.Must have memorization, spatial orientation, and mathematical reasoningskills.

  Physical Requirements:Lift up to 30-35 pounds.Stand/walk 10 hours/day.Do initial push/pull force 35 lbs with sustained push/pull force 18 lbsReach repetitively up to 10 hours a day.Tolerate neck flexion up to 10 hours a dayTolerate repetitive pinching/pulling up to 10 hours a day.Have visual acuity, distance, near, and color.Tolerate a clean room environment.Tolerate fumes/odors of solvents, chemicals
