About Assembly Technician

  Final Assembler III - V –Electromechanical

  Pay :

  Level III: $26/hr - $32/hr (4 – 8 years of exp.)

  Level IV: $28/hr - $34/hr (8 – 15 years of exp.)

  Level V: $35/hr - $37/hr (15+ years of exp.)

  Shift : M – F; 8am – 4:30pm

  Location : Redwood City

  6 month contract to hire

  Job Description:

  · Properly handling all PCBA and components when conducting final assembly

  · Patiently and carefully installing cables to very small / tiny connectors using tweezers

  · Paying careful attention to minimize damage to PCB components

  · Perform functional testing and visual inspection on assembled components

  · Carefully performing adhesive application using thin glue dispenser

  · Accurately complete all necessary manufacturing documentation (i.e., LHR’s, FRM’s) in tandem with completing each assembly process.

  · Attention to detail and carefully executing dexterous tasks utilizing hand tools

  · Adhere to all manufacturing procedures, SOP’s, WI’s and GMP

  · Identify needed materials, tools, or aids

  · Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and piece into final product

  · Work with engineering and support teams on process improvements or changes

  · Assist with transfer of new products or design changes

  · Effectively communicate and ask questions if unclear on any process requirements

  Qualifications:

  · Must properly follow documentation protocol each step of the way, final assembly can be 20 pages long

  · Experiences handling PCB and PCBA components

  · Medical device experience (preferred)

  · Comfortably lift up to 25lbs

  · Flexible to modify working hours to meet specific commitments

  · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel)

  · Willing to work with machinery/equipment

  · High school diploma or GED (preferred)
