　　As an Assembly Team Lead at Caterpillar, you will:

　　Know all assembly procedures, standard work schedules, quality requirements, and build requirements in assigned work areas.

　　Use various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties which may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.

　　Perform other related work duties as assigned.

　　Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.

　　Multitask and prioritize work.

　　Train new and develop existing employees.

　　Liaison between team members and section managers.

　　First point of contact for questions related to employee job functions.

　　Performance of administrative functions and may be accountable for daily team PQVC metric boards.

　　May provide input on schedule/build adjustments

　　May communicate with cross-functional leaders.

　　Rely on independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete job tasks.

　　Communicate potential build schedules, inventory or manpower issues, and solutions to the section manager .

　　Basic Requirements:

　　1 years of Assembly experience

　　1 year of Manufacturing experience

　　Physical Requirements:

　　Occasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift

　　Occasional bending, reaching, and squatting while performing tasks

　　Consistent usage of required PPE for the task being performed

　　Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

　　Ability to Stand and/or sit at a desk while performing tasks
