Job Summary

　　This role is responsible to carry out the assembly of control valves & other valves, actuators, leveltrols, desuperheaters & instruments as per the order requirements and approved process & procedures. He/she should support the team leader in marshalling the work & resource in meeting the deadlines. This role is based in Dubai- UAE, but with 25% travel requirements if required to fulfill the assignments.

　　Job Description

　　Assembly of all types of valves, actuators, Leveltrols, Desuperheaters, Diffusers & Instruments. Hydrostatic testing, Seat Leak Testing, Actuator Testing, Calibration, Managing Assembly Tools and Welding Consumables, Housekeeping and 5S activities. Should be able to support the welding & heat treatment activities as required.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Control valve assembly activities.

　　Picking of parts as per the released pick list / job order

　　Assembling of various control valves, Leveltrols, Desuperheaters, Diffusers and other instruments as per the job order.

　　Carry out the hydrostatic testing of control valves, Leveltrols, Desuperheaters as per the job order.

　　Carry out the seat leak testing of control valves as per the job order.

　　Performing ValveLink analysis and troubleshooting.

　　Keep the track of the software status.

　　Performing the calibration of DLC instruments as required.

　　Report the status of the assembly to Team Leader

　　Support Team Leader in identifying the corrective actions for clearing the RFT’s raised in assembly.

　　Testing & recording of results of valves

　　Interpretation of Routing / Job Orders released for welding / fabrication.

　　Picking & Inspection of parts released for welding / fabrication.

　　Storage & handling of welding consumables as per welding codes & standards and Fisher procedures.

　　Carry out the welding activities as required.

　　Handling of waste welding consumables as required by the approved procedures.

　　Support the Heat Treatment & Post Weld Heat Treatment activities as required.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Essential

　　Technical Diploma or equivalent level in related field

　　Experience in assembly & troubleshooting of control valves, Leveltrols, Desuperheaters, Diffusers & Instruments

　　Experience in the calibration & ValveLink testing and its analysis.

　　Minimum 5-8 years welding experience

　　Desirable

　　Experience in Fisher Valves, its assembly & testing

　　Fisher Product knowledge

　　Exposure of other valve types which will be helpful in covering Lifecycle Services scope

　　ASME Section XI qualified 6G

　　Experience in PTA welding, experience in fabrication & weld fit up.

　　Heat Treatment & Post Weld Heat Treatment experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Sound knowledge All Types of Fisher Valves Assembly and Functionals, Types of Materials, Welding consumables and Heat Treatment.
