JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assembler cut and measure wire or cable to ensure allwires will operate properly. Prepare wire or cable for next process inproduction. Solder as required; clean solder areas with alcohol toremove debris and excess solder. Crimp pin/sockets onto the wires orcables; assemble into connector. Apply heat shrinks, sleeving, labelsand spot tie as required. Assembler Use small hand tools and may usesemi-automated equipment. Solder and assemble components, usingprecision measuring. Test assembly after assembling. Assembler learn toperform all Electrical and Mechanical functions described above.Validate materials prior to beginning assembly. Review drawings,blueprints and schematics prior to performing assembly and use themthroughout the assembly of product. Build products for customers perspecification and within tolerances. Complete all clean-up andhousekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rulesand regulations. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned byLeaders. Ability to read and understand the English Language and theEnglish Measurement System. Able to distinguish color codes. Ability tolift and/or carry up to 30 lbs. General knowledge of either ElectricalAssembly or Mechanical Assembly. General solder ability (jumper wires,wires to connector), depending upon the area assigned.
