Asphalt Shingle Grinder Operator- Lebanon, PA Floating - 491279

　　DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Job ID: 491279

　　Position OverviewThis position is responsible for operating and maintaining the shingle-grinding machine safely and efficiently. This position also loads trucks to haul processed shingles.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. * Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc. * Perform pre-shift inspection on shingle-grinding machine. * Perform maintenance on equipment. * Weld & use torch on grinding machine as necessary. * Operate front-end loader to load trucks and shingle grinder. * Requires shoveling and skid steer operation for clean up around plant. * Maintain and repair grinding machine on a daily basis. * Requires regular climbing of various ladders, stairs and catwalks at heights up to 25' to access to plant components, belts and bins. * Work effectively and professionally with various departments as needed. * Travel as necessary. * Other duties as assigned.

　　Requirements * Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check. * Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours.

　　Education/Experience * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Current driver's license and reliable source of transportation. * Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times. * Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time. * Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual. * Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. * Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned.
