　　Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Area Clerk to join our team in Nedrow, NY.

　　The Plant Clerk role is based in Nedrow, NY and reports directly to the Plant Manager for local RMC Locations.

　　What you’ll get to do

　　Provide administrative support for plant management 

　　Open and distribution of mail.

　　Answer and transfer all calls

　　AP/AR responsibilities including:

　　Accounts payable for multiple locations and multiple product lines.

　　Process vendor invoices and purchase orders to ensure transactional accuracy .

　　Receive, check, and process raw material invoices having detailed involvement in month end inventory management and processes

　　Management of Raw material inventory for all Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants and serve as back up clerk role for aggregate and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).

　　Safety train all visitors.

　　Multiple filing processes.

　　Essential Experience and Skills

　　Intermediate or greater proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

　　Strong organizational and communication skills

　　Demonstrated ability to multi-task and the flexibility to adapt to changing business situations

　　Ability and motivation to meet the requirements of the job, which may include extended hours and irregular schedules

　　High school diploma or GED

　　Preferred Experience and Skills

　　Associates degree

　　Experience with SAP

　　Work Environment

　　Role operates primarily a professional office environment but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.What we have to offer
