Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are adding an Architectural Project Designer to our growing McKinstry'sArchitectural team.Your passion, experience and endless curiosity will beimportant in our drive for transformative change in the industry. Someresponsibilities you will have include:Work within McKinstry's Architectural team on a variety of projectsResponsible for coordinating the production of deliverables throughout thearchitectural design processResponsible for supporting the Architectural Project Manager with thefollowing:Production of construction documentsTechnical detailingRevit modeling and BIM360Building code and ADA researchFF&E research and selectionsConcept and design developmentProject schedulingCross-disciplinary coordinationConstruction administration duties.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstryProficient with Revit modeling and BIM360 software and project coordinationProficient in creating and coordinating construction documentsUnderstanding of architectural detailing and construction methodsKnowledge of Building code, ADA and jurisdictional/permitting processes*Ability to lead development and updates of team design standards, templatesand Revit/BIM processesAbility to create meetings minutes, reports, conduct occupancy and codecalculations with oversightCuriosity and passion for understanding and learning more about thearchitectural design process, and a desire to take on more responsibilitiesExperience with Construction Administration duties including submittalreviews, RFI responses, communicating with jurisdictionsAbility to work with assigned project team productively and collaborativelyProficient in MS Office programsArchitectural licensure or in-progress to licensure preferredNCARB certificate is preferredLEED AP preferredExperience with SketchUp software a plusExperience with Adobe Creative Suite a plusBachelor's degree in ArchitectureMinimum 5 years related experiencePeopleFirst BenefitsWhen it comes to the basics, we have you covered:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zerodeductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistanceUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveTransgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance"Building Good" paid community service timeLearning and advancement opportunities via McKinstry UniversityMcKinstry Moves onsite gyms or reimbursement for remote workersSee benefit plan documents for complete details.If you're driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together,McKinstry is the place to build your career.The pay range for this position is $69,840 - $102,410 per year;however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge,skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location.
