Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Microservices MySQL PL/SQL Spring Boot and Java as well as domain expertise in Governance Risk Compliance and Finance Accounting. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and robust microservices architectures.

• Implement and maintain MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

• Utilize PL/SQL for database programming and optimization.

• Develop and deploy applications using Spring Boot framework.

• Write clean efficient and maintainable Java code.

• Ensure compliance with governance risk and compliance standards in all projects.

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

• Have extensive experience with MySQL database management and optimization.

• Demonstrate proficiency in PL/SQL programming.

• Show expertise in Spring Boot framework for application development.

• Exhibit strong Java programming skills.

• Understand governance risk and compliance requirements in technical projects.

• Have experience working with finance and accounting systems.

• Display excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Show ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid work model.

Certifications Required:

Certified Microservices Architect Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Spring Professional Certification Oracle Certified Professional Java SE

Salary:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
