　　Our client is a leading manufacturing company on LongIsland supporting military and defense companies. They are seeking an Applications Programming Systems Specialist to join their IT team. This person will be supporting and developing web based programs connected to SQL server databases. Salary will be based on experience, minimum 3 years creating web based applications and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or 4 years experience as an applications developer or software engineer in lieu of degree. 　　Responsibilities

　　Develop web and windows software applications using .Net technologies (Visual Studio) and multiple data sources.

　　Write and modify SQL Server stored procedures using transactional SQL.

　　Develop and maintain business reports using SQL Server SSRS.

　　Execute MS SQL Server DBA activities, including backups, restores, and scheduling maintenance jobs.

　　Support ERP system operations for a manufacturing company. (will train if needed)

　　Open and resolve support cases with the ERP vendor.

　　The essential functions of this role include:
