Responsibilities:
· Review Construction Industry Specifications for bidding projects.
o D evelop all required documents, including: bid management plan, list of design risks and recommendations, scope of supply, equipment design, and bid price sheets.
o Determine modifications required to company equipment to ensure specification compliance.
o Work with Engineering Department on project details for successful bids.
· Create and organize sales related documents such as proposals/bid packages, prequalification packages, scopes of supply, reference lists, performance data, company information and capabilities, brochures, product specifications, etc.
· Interact with customers and company’s Regional Sales Managers to receive inquiries, work through design challenges, provide technical information, follow up on open projects, etc.
· Delegate the preparation of General Arrangement and P&ID Drawings to Drafting Team and review for accuracy.
· Review marketing sales engine websites and services daily to identify potential sales leads and communicate to Regional Sales Managers and Proposals Manager.
· Develop request for quotation (RFQ) for vendors and review all quotes for accuracy and specification compliance.
· Assist in developing and maintaining Proposal Department’s tools, design/pricing standards, and references.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors in Engineering discipline.
· Ability to travel up to 5% of the time to project sites, trade shows, and other business opportunity needs. However, travel will typically not be required or will be less.
· Experience working with Engineering specifications and evaluating equipment and/or process compliance.
· Proficiency MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
