Agency Overview: A&F IT is a unit under the Executive Office for Administration & Finance (A&F) and is overseen by the A&F IT Secretariat Chief Information Officer (A&F SCIO). A&F IT is comprised of more than 200 employees working on IT systems and applications for 15 various A&F agencies. A&F IT oversees and provides all the IT application support for these agencies to ensure their IT operations are running effectively and efficiently. Operational Services Division (OSD) is an agency under A&F who provides high speed print and mail services for executive departments. A&F IT is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Application Developer who will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the OSD/A&F Print and Mail applications, as well as other related services. This individual will play a crucial role in managing security, permissions, and access to these applications, ensuring their smooth day to day operations. Primary Responsibilities: * Serving on the A&F IT technical team and being involved with the application design, development, build, unit testing and deployment by using ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, MVC, SQL Server, jQuery, Azure DevOps, and web API * Thoroughly testing all code to ensure that programs are functioning correctly * Manage security, permissions and access to applications and related services * Provide day-to-day administration, support and monitoring of applications and related services * Query performance tuning and writing ad-hoc queries * Creating IT documents for knowledge base, user guides and other various communications systems * Following established business, technical and project policies and guidelines aligned with A&F and EOTSS principles and standards to include the following: o Use of best practices, meeting management, project plans, status reports and dashboards, risk and issue tracking, change requests and resource management Preferred Qualifications: * Minimum 4 years’ experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, MVC, Web API and SQL server * Expert-level JavaScript/jQuery * Minimum 2 years’ experience with REST Web API * Experience with advanced query design, stored procedures, views, and functions * Experience with continuous integration, deployments, and troubleshooting * Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment * Ability to communicate with technical and business resources at many levels in a manner that supports progress and success * Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new business cultures and ways of working * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision /As part of the Future of Work initiative, the agency is adopting a hybrid work model.
