Description Play a critical part in a team environment as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a thriving company. This long-term contract / temporary position is offered through Robert Half. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Based out of the Boston, Massachusetts area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

　　Implement full-cycle A/P

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Carry out additional tasks as assigned

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　General familiarity with Oracle

　　Foundational knowledge in Check Runs

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Account reconciliation experience desired

　　Data entry experience highly desired

　　Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

　　Adeptness in Invoice Processing

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
