　　Animal Caretaker

　　We are seeking a Animal Caretaker for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Baltimore, MD .

In the Animal Caretaker role, you can do that by providing the highest-level quality assurance and control, in addition to coordinating preventative maintenance of equipment, as well as inspecting operation procedures to ensure the integrity of the research.

　　What you will do!

　　In the Animal Caretaker role, you will use existing SOPs and quality assurance standards to perform daily animal health observations, as well as animal husbandry duties, to maintain quality and health of research animals. You will also need to maintain accurate records of things like animal breeding, as well as housing or support areas, and you may also be tasked with receiving, inspection, and housing of incoming animals. You may assist with restraint, handling, and manipulation of animal species, and you may become involved in the breeding and weaning procedures. Other duties may include monitoring personnel and equipment entry into various rooms, as well as operating required equipment and general housekeeping, when required.

　　Who are we looking for?

　　A candidate that possesses a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Six months experience in research animal care and husbandry preferred. Interest in achieving ALAT certification upon eligibility.

　　The pay this position is $17.20 USD per hour.
