　　Your Career

　　Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced individual to actively drive the success of Pricing & Licensing organization as the Analyst, Pricing Analytics. You are a self-starter, detail oriented strategic thinker, great communicator, who enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

　　Reporting to the Manager of Pricing Analytics, the Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Palo Alto Network’s pricing strategies using data driven approaches and pricing research methodologies, building complex statistical and analytical models, and providing business insights through the analysis and development of pricing KPIs and dashboards. In this role, you will conduct customer segmentation, competitive analysis, transactional data analysis, develop statistical models and pricing metrics, assess pricing performance of the organization, and identify revenue and margin leakage and optimization opportunities. You'll be an experienced professional in large scale data and enterprise analytics.

　　Your Impact

　　Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and revenue/margin improvements across Palo Alto Networks product portfolio

　　Develop and maintain rich, interactive pricing/discounting dashboards by analyzing historical transactional data

　　Construct excel based tools and support the development of statistical models that inform sales on deal attractiveness based on comparable sales, win probability, revenues, and margin data

　　Improve Target Price models by incorporating historical pricing/discounting data, and identifying causes for discount changes

　　Create new ML models to improve product pricing, enhance price development

　　approach/methodologies, and/or generate meaningful business insights to drive future pricing strategy development

　　Your Experience

　　Bachelor’s in Engineering, Economics, Data Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience required

　　Proficient in Excel and relational database management (SQL)

　　3+ years of experience in programming with Python and basic ML algorithms(Scikit)

　　Proficient in data visualization software such as Tableau, etc. (preferred)

　　History of presenting recommendations and getting buy-in from senior executives

　　Exceptional presentation skills, concise and fluent in communication

　　Ability to distill complexity via a methodical and structured approach
