General Description

　　The employee shall work as part of a forward deployed modification team under the direction of a Tyonek Team Leader to successfully implement/install/test the Tyonek developed Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) on a UH-1N. Employee is responsible for contributing to overall modification team success by executing tasks to include, but not limited to removal and reinstallation of; panels, clamps, wiring harnesses, seats, doors, brackets, aircraft components as required. Employee will be required to comply with both host facility safety and quality regulations/requirements as well as all applicable Tyonek quality and safety policies to ensure program success.

　　Duties

　　Responsible for technical input and execution of tasks assigned by Team Leader within quality, and schedule constraints.Reviews and conduct maintenance using blueprints, schematics, and supplied DOD documentationComply with engineering specifications and maintenance instructions in accordance with USAF Technical Orders (TO's), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's), and Tyonek developed installation proceduresRemove and reinstall aircraft components to include but not limited to seats, panels, fairings, doors, windows, and various components.Assist electricians with tasks to include; clamping, drilling, and installation of sensors throughout the aircraftAssist Electricians in routing and securing pre-terminated wire harnessesAssist engineers and team leader with component discrepancies and investigationsExecute post modification Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) to ensure functionalityCommunicate concerns, issues, technical approach, and schedule related issues to Team Leader.Demonstrate a solutions-focused approach to problem solving while identifying and resolving customer issues.Other duties as assignedEducation/Experience Requirements

　　High School Diploma or equivalent6 years military or combined related rotary wing maintenance experienceMust provide own hand tools, specialized tooling and test equipment shall be providedMust be a US CitizenMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret or higher security clearanceExperience on UH-1 platform highly preferredExperience with basic sheet metal tasks preferredAirframe and Power Plant Mechanics Certification (AandP) desiredMust possess effective communication skills with experience in inter-discipline team environment desiredWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testingPhysical Requirements
