Aerotek Aviation is currently accepting applications for Aircraft Mechanics who will be doing corporate aircraft maintenance onsite for our client in Lincoln, Nebraska.

　　Will review candidates with 4 plus years of military or civilian based aircraft maintenance experience - A&P license not required.Position Title:

　　Pay Rate:

　　$24-$40 per hour

　　Description:

　　The Aircraft Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of a airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, company approved procedures and customer specifications. In addition, this position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

　　With limited supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes, using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with no rework. Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.

　　With limited supervision, performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.

　　Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of the company work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders.

　　Candidates will be performing maintenance on Business Jets - Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon.

　　If candidates have any aircraft sheetmetal or structures experience that is also a huge place.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　A&P License preferred

　　Will also consider candidates with 4 plus years of Military experience if they do not have an A&P.

　　Will look at candidates with less than 4 years of military based experience if they have their A&P sign offs.

　　- Candidates with A&P license are highly preferred, but will look at candidates without if they have 4+ years of aircraft maintenance.

　　- Corporate or Business jet experience is highly sought after

　　Work Environment

　　Candidates will work inside a hanger that is temp controlled. Also is heated with heated floors in the winter.

　　Shifts: 1st 6:00am - 4:00pm M-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

　　2nd shift 2:00pm -12:00am M-Thursday or Tuesday -Friday

　　Weekend shift is Friday-Sunday they work 3 12's and receive a 10% shift difference to make up for the 4 hours.
