We are a global organization of specialists across a rich set of domains and tasks. The AIML Data Operations Analytics team is responsible for helping the organization make better decisions through data, visualization, insights, and analysis. We seek a Business Intelligence expert to own dashboard development, management, and maintenance. And to support business analytics for the Analytics team. In this position, you will play a key role in expanding the team’s contribution by delivering insights, supporting decision making, and optimizing organizational performance. As a key member of our global and dynamic organization, you will engage in hands-on development of new dashboards and the analysis of business decisions. You will work with large datasets from diverse datasources, with a commitment to privacy that will require innovative approaches. You will work collaboratively with partners across the organization to identify and deliver new sources of business value. The position is based in Cupertino, California or Seattle, Washington.
Key Qualifications
3+ years hands-on experience in developing and deploying business intelligence solutions that address business problems, with demonstrated success in dashboard and related data product development; high proficiency in Tableau Server or similar BI tools
3+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis, with a demonstrated ability to develop answers to loosely defined business questions by using large datasets along with appropriate statistical techniques
3+ years experience querying large-scale datasets with SQL
Strong writing, visualization, and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, and actionable manner to leadership
Attention to detail, and a mind for data quality, data validation, and continuous improvement
Ability to balance competing priorities, long-term projects, and ad-hoc requirements
Description
Our mission is to improve decision making in the Data Operations organization. You will contribute to this mission by providing high-quality data / visualizations, developing metrics, and producing insights that inform decisions made by cross-functional partners throughout the org. You will work independently to achieve team goals and guide others technically, bridging gaps in understanding between the Analytics team and our customers. - You will elicit requirements, develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other business intelligence solutions for our internal customers. - You will apply analytical methods to large data sets to identify sources of value and inform the business decisions that improve organizational performance. - You will perform and document analysis, validation, and data mapping/design.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Advanced degree in a related field a plus.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
