JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ziegler Ag Equipment has an opening for a full-time,experienced Mechanic to work on agricultural equipment. Ziegler AgEquipment sells and services the full line of Fendt tractors, combines,planters and application equipment. Other brands include MasseyFerguson, RoGator and TerraGator application equipment, CLAAS LEXION,TRION, Jaguar and tractors in select areas, as well as tillage and grainhandling equipment. We are looking for a dedicated employee withexcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to help deliver topnotch service as a mechanic to our rapidly growing customer base.Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment includingtractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and plantersRespond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely mannerto ensure maximum value for work performed Maintains a clean and safework area, adhere to all safety procedures Follows standard operatingprocedures Cleans and organizes equipment Attends formal trainingAssists to prepare new equipment for rent or sale Provides assistance toall other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshootingrepairs Performs other duties as assigned/required Maintains paperworkdocumentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timelymanner on a daily/job basis Documents labor, addition of segments,assuring that work order can be closed and billed as communicated withthe customer Positively interacts with manager and team members tosatisfy customer needs Communicates effectively with customers, bothinternal and external Qualifications: 2-year technical degree or highschool diploma/GED and several years of comparable shopmechanicexperience 2+ years of relevantdiesel equipment repairexperience preferred Previous experience with AGCO, CLAAS or Versatileproducts is a plus but not required Personal attributes: attention todetail, efficiency, problem solving, planning and organization, teamplayer Written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Ownmechanic tool set Ability to maintain safe and clean work environmentThis role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug testas a pre-employment requirement *IndT Minimum Physical Requirements:Push/pull up to 50 lbs Lift/carry up to 60 lbs Lift bulky objectsStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunkrotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling,sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overheadreaching, crawling, bin...
