Dates of need are 3/15/2024-12/15/2024 This order is for work inPaul/Rupert, Idaho area.
Applicant `MUST HAVE` 20 days experience as a general farmworker/irrigator/livestock workerand the name and number of thereference who has first hand knowledge and can verify the workersexperience.
Perform any combination of the following tasks required in equipmentoperation, farm work and the production of crops: adjust alignment ofpipes ; adjust gates and pipe connections to control water flow; adjustvalves to start and/or adjust water flow; adjust, repair, and servicefarm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; applyherbicides to noxious, invasive and poisonous plant species on grazingareas; apply, monitor, and control fertigation (applying fertilizerthrough irrigation) chemicals applied through irrigation system; dumpsolutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; evaluatethe condition of the crop/weather and adjust harvesting activity basedon evaluation; irrigate soil through operation of sprinkler systems;loading/unloading trucks; maintain/drive/attach and operate farmimplements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize,apply chemicals and harvest crops; mix specified material or chemicalsand dump solutions/powders into irrigation system or sprayer machinery;observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipmentmalfunctions; operate maintain and repair all components of a sprinkler;operate multiple types of pumps; perform some maintenance andadjustments to implements/tractors/equipment; removal of excess plantgrowth from farm grounds; remove pipe from fields and place in storage;remove pipe from storage; shovel and pack dirt in low spots or cuttrenches to direct water flow; use proper material and methods to repairirrigation equipment. Perform any combination of the following tasksattending to livestock: assist in the maintenance of tools, equipmentand handling facilities necessary to production; assist with castrationof livestock; assist with the vaccination of livestock by herding intocorrals and/or stalls or manually restraining animals ; attend topregnant livestock and newborn offspring in hot fall months and coldwinter months; brand, tag, clip or otherwise mark young animals foridentification purposes; clean and disinfect livestock corrals, pens andhandling facilities; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries;feed and water and ensure adequate provision of both; guard againstpredatory animals and from eating poisonous and/or noxious plants; liftand stack bales of hay and sacks of grain and mineral onto a feed truckor wagon; operate and tend equipment such as pickups, 4-wheelers,tractors, tub grinders and skid steers trailers (livestock, utility andflatbed); spray livestock with insecticide.
