And you're up for the challenge.In addition, you will:Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial and fiber cablePlace, relocate and remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop and block wire in order to maintain efficient operation of the customers' facilitiesSet up a safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriersReview project plans, specifications installation instructions to ensure the project is built according to the approved design specificationsDirect the activities on the job siteProperly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.Communicate with the Area Supervisor or ManagerAct as the lead for in-house crewsOversee daily schedules, delivery schedules, and daily productivity of the Aerial crewQualificationsAbout You:Safety is a part of your day to dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are looking for long term projectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamEmbrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your teamYou will have 3+ years of experience in telecommunications constructionYou know the telecom construction industryCoax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing polesYou have knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements to complete the job(s) safelyYou have a strong knowledge of CATV building practices and CTV/Aerial field equipmentYou have OSHA 10 training, CPR, and Flagging certificationYou are able to operate a digger Derek truckYou are able to lift up to 70 lbs.You are able to work and climb up to 35 feetYou are able to read and understand work orders and CTV cable printsYou are able to work on call including evenings and weekends as neededYou are comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced and quickly changing environmentYou are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsYou have demonstrated leadership skillsMOS Codes 2847, B05A, 3D157, 002599, 5699, 12P, 12Q, 12H, 3E251, 3E271 relate well to this position.Hard work pays off.
