The subspecialty of the PediatricENT Program (Otolaryngology Program) provides specialized medical andsurgical care to infants, children, and teens who have problems withtheir ears, noses, or throats. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of amultidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence inprogram administration, patient care, patient safety, research, qualityimprovement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be an experiencedAPP or Clinician looking to be part of a thriving and very collaborativeacademic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas ofresponsibility will include, but not be limited to providing directpatient care to Pediatric Patients in an Inpatient/Hospital setting. Inthis role you will work in conjunction with the department\'s PediatricOtolaryngology Division specialist to manage the inpatient service, seeconsults in the Emergency Room and urgent patient visits in clinic. Youwill also work in support of the specialists with complicated patientsand ensure appropriate continuity of care for all program patients alongwith developing and implementing clinical pathways/protocols,participate in quality projects, and implement Pediatric OtolaryngologyDivision initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary health careteams in diagnosis and treatment of conditions requiring pediatricotolaryngology intervention in an inpatient environment as a member ofthe Otolaryngology team.
