rAbout This Role:
K-State Salina\'s Aerospace and Technology Campus seeks experiencedCertified Flight Instructors (CFIs) to join our growing team of aviationflight professionals! The Advanced Flight Instructor positionperforms flight training of private pilot, instrument pilot, commercialpilot, flight instructor, and others as delegated by the Chief FlightInstructor.

Students train for certifications/ratings ranging from solo throughcommercial on a diverse selection of aircraft starting with Cessna172sbefore moving on to more complex aircraft including Barons. Since theprogram is FAR 141 approved, students are allowed to meet the commercialinstrument minimum flight hour requirement of 190 hours instead of 250hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School DiplomaThree years of relevant experienceMust have FAA Certified Flight Instructor (Single-Engine Land) (CFI)and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) Certificates uponemployment.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree500+ hours dual given with 7+ students recommended for FAA checkrides and an 80% first attempt pass rateAdditional ratings and/or endorsementsTwo years flight instructor experienceDetailed documentation of training recordsStrong support for safety practices, procedures, and cultureOther Requirements:

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:
