Administrative Specialist II
KBR is looking for a motivated and energetic professional to be the administrative specialist/technical writer in the branch front office working directly with mid-level civilian and military leaders. The person will be the first-person Air Force civilian and military employees and managers will interact with, so must present a professional demeanor at all times. This is an on-site position working Monday through Friday.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager. Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist and project-based work. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Program Management or Engineering but are mainly administrative in nature. Under general supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance with written procedures. Some independence is expected with regard to methods used to achieve results. Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects for immediate supervisor. Assignments generally include such types of work as preparing complex reports and maintaining complicated records requiring careful selection, classification, or compilation of information from several sources. Requires ability to perform numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis. Applies common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions. Required ability to communicate effective with internal and external clients. The skills acquired for this job are typically acquired through a high school diploma and 6+ years of experience.
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
High school diploma
6+ years’ experience
Microsoft Office expertise (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook calendar management
PREFERRED SKILLS:
General understanding of the United States Air Force, Tinker AFB or functions of System Program Offices within the Air Force
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
REQUIRMENTS:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
