The work you will do:
This position is located within the Bureau of Compliance of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes in Tallahassee, Florida. This in-office position supports the Education Supervisor, and is responsible for the administrative functions in the office.

Simplified Overview:
The incumbent in this position reports to the Education Supervisor and is responsible for the administrative functions to include:
Preparing correspondences for constituents;
Working with the other administrative assistants within the Bureau;
Answering telephones and routing inbound telephone calls;
Processing incoming and outgoing mail, and opening cases using the Department’s software programs ;
Scheduling interviews and meetings for supervisors and assisting with personnel issues;
Monitoring and tracking supplies, ordering supplies for the office and ensuring all items are purchased in compliance with the Division, Department and State purchasing policies and procedures;
Assisting supervisor with various data tracking using Microsoft Excel;
Preparing various reports for internal data tracking;
Coordinating appointments for in-person events;
Preparing, reserving and assisting with travel arrangements;
Performing other related job duties and projects as required;
Communicating with supervisor on a daily basis.
Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent and
One (1) year of customer service experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with:
Experience of administrative support in a professional office environment;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively to members within and outside of the organization
Skilled in writing and reading comprehension.
Skilled in customer service etiquette.
