Essential Functions:Assist with administrative needs of various departments of a diversified defense contractor.Provides high-level administrative support by handling information requests and performing administrative functions such as preparing reports and correspondence and assisting with various department needs including program management, finance, payroll, proposals and security.
Position Qualifications:Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Knowledge or interest in one or more of the following areas: business development, marketing, government contracts.Ability to interact effectively with customers, government agencies, and to perform effectively as a team member.Strong interpersonal skills and capable of interacting with culturally diverse individuals across all levels and fields. Ability to work collaboratively, resolve conflicts, propose solutions and gain agreement and consensus with stakeholders.Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software. Ability to organize, analyze, simplify, and report complex data and information. Knowledge of basic website development and content management; familiarity with social media as a communications tool.Minimum Education and/or Training: College degree preferred. Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.Detail-oriented with ability to multi task.Experience in MS office suite applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
