Job Description
The administrative assistant will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Moncton water treatment plan, Project Manager and staff.
Primary responsibilities
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
Data entry into company enterprise and account software.
Setup and maintain computer filing systems.
Retrieves information as request from records, email, minutes and other related documents.
Respond to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for manager.
Prepare and schedules for meetings.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft office suit or related software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and computer systems
Ability to work independently
Associates degree in related field preferred
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role
May perform more advanced functions as part of training and development.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Work Environment
Permanent position, with working schedules from Monday to Friday, day schedules.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
