Provides administrative support to the Cape Cod Hospital ClinicalResource Department. Essential duties include the following. Otherduties may be assigned. Performs all work with the utmost discretion,maintaining the confidentiality of all communications with the ExecutiveDirector of Clinical Resources, & the confidentiality of all issues,subjects & documents within the Department. Establishes & maintains aneffective customer-service focused working relationship with allindividuals in contact with the Clinical Resource Department Assistswith coordinating P2P calls by established process as requested by theManager of Appeals & Denials Coordinates appointments, schedulesmeetings & arranges meeting locations for the Clinical ResourceDepartment sends notices of meetings & prepares materials for same.Completed meeting minutes in a timely manner Answering & triaging mainphone & fax number. Copies & faxes materials as requested, obtains,correlates & processes information & reports as required by the CaseManagement team. Develops & maintains an ongoing directory of allresources essential for discharge including, but not limited to: Nursinghomes (all levels), rehabilitation hospitals, chronic care hospitals,shelters, respites, other extended care facilities, day programs, homehealth services (tertiary, secondary, non-profit, for profit, etc.),durable medical equipment services, community agencies/services,emergency response systems, transportation services, entitlementprograms, etc. Maintain adequate quantity of forms, materials & supplieswithin the department & insures the hospital swing office is wellstocked Maintains an up to date working knowledge of Microsoft, Epic &Office Maintains orientation manual & policy & procedures manual.Assists with creation & maintenance of the Clinical Resource Departmentpatient material brochure & department newsletter Maintains thedepartment shared drive & share point program Assist & maintaindatabases, graphs, & aggregate data as needed to support ClinicalResource department projects & Performance Improvement efforts. Prepare& report data, as requested, to appropriate departments &/or individualsAssist in preparation & follow-up of Departmental Accreditation &Regulatory Surveys. Performs other work-related duties as assigned orrequested. Enter Denials into the SSI system Consistently providesservice excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers& co-workers. Qualifications Excellent writing, organization, phone,multitasking & communication skills. High School diploma or GEDAssociates or bachelor?s degree preferred Read, write & communicates inEnglish Minimum 2 years? experience in a health care system in anadministrative role with experience working with reports & electronichealth record systems. Must be proficient in the full range of MicrosoftOffice products with particular emphasis in Outlook, Word, Excel &PowerPoint. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attentionto detail. Experience taking meeting minutes preferred. Ability to workindependently & take initiative. Schedule Details: 40 hours per week,7:30a-3:30p or 8a-4p. Monday-Friday, occ. weekends & holidays
