Description Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsinand Upper Michigan is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant tojoin our growing Housing team. This position provides clerical andadministrative support to the agency in a variety of areas which couldinclude clerical, receptionist, project based, and other support tasks.Hours for the role are somewhat flexible, M-F, generally first shift.AGENCY REQUIREMENTS (Required of all employees): Must comply withapplicable service regulations as well as agency and departmentalpolicies and procedures. Must relate to people of varied ethnic andcultural backgrounds, ages, and economic circumstances with respect anddignity. Must support the Mission, Vision and Values of the Agency.Represent LSS internally and externally as a servant leader in thought,words and actions. Essential Duties and responsibilities: This list ofduties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded toinclude other duties and responsibilities, as management may deemnecessary from time to time. Deliver excellent customer service whilemaintaining an understanding and supportive demeanor. Maintain anaccurate information stream that meets the needs of clients andprograms. Continue to expand and improve technical knowledge and be anadministrative resource for others in the agency. Provide guidance, workdirection, and support to other administrative employees and volunteersas necessary. Create and edit documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Type various documents and correspondence including meeting minutes.Proofread all documents for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, andcontent. Communicate effectively with program partners regarding tasks,responsibilities, and deadlines. Problem-solve and provide suggestionsfor efficiency and improvement as warranted.
