DSI is growing! We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Houston, TX branch office. Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and knows that its biggest asset is its employees.
Job Responsibilities include assisting in day-to-day activities of the Branch office, you will provide support to Branch personnel for the successful daily operation of the Branch office and ensuring customer satisfaction, provide friendly assistance and customer service to Clients, Branch Personnel, Security Officers, Site Supervisors, Field Supervisors, Corporate Departments and others who contact the Branch for assistance. You will ensure proper entry of new hire information into the employee and payroll system and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed prior to the employees' first day of work. You will be responsible for ensuring all separation reports are sent in a timely fashion to Accounting and that the payroll system is kept up to date.
This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have intermediate to advanced computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. Wage is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
Pre-employment requirements are to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required. You must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication. You must pass all required background and drug screenings. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience working with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) A friendly Customer-Service Oriented attitude.
