Responsibilities*
Manage complex calendars and set up appointments for division appointed faculty.
Prepare/edit correspondence of the division faculty behalf using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various other university platforms.
Process reimbursements, reconcile reports and place marketsite and office supply orders for assigned faculty.
Prepare/submit travel arrangements on behalf of assigned faculty.
Coordinate hosting events, maintain files for division, reserve conference rooms for assigned team.
Maintain CV's for assigned faculty.
Submit clinic closures according to division guidelines.

Required Qualifications*
Administrative Assistant Senior:
The selected candidate should have at least 4 years of experience supporting faculty or management.
HS Diploma required with advanced education preferred.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and university policies and procedures helpful.
Administrative Assistant Intermediate:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing general administrative support to a department or group of professionals.
Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.
Work Locations
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement is subject to change at the request of the division.
Underfill Statement
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
