The Activities Coordinator plans and executes all therapeutic recreation activities. This position assists residents to develop, maintain and participate in all appropriate leisure lifestyles. In the absence of the Director of Activities, the Activities Coordinator will supervise the operations within activities.

　　Assist with planning and executing small group or 1:1 programs designed to meet residents’ individual needs. Coordinate birthday parties and other large group social activities. Execute sensory stimulation programs.Ensures that residents are safely transported to and from activity programs. Assist with outings, special programs, and occasional evening programs, as needed.Complete the activity log daily, M.D.S assessment, progress notes and care plans within the regulated time frame.
