Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Santa Barbara, California, United States. The role involves maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries within the industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial part in managing customer accounts and ensuring appropriate actions are taken when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Receivable tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM to maintain precise customer credit records.

• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and correctly posted.

• Manage cash applications and check processing operations to ensure timely and accurate billing functions.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and transactions, providing excellent customer service.

• Monitor customer accounts, identifying any irregularities or discrepancies and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Manage cash activity within customer accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

• Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless accounting functions.

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

• Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is expected

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms is required

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently

• Must have experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is needed

• Ability to manage all Cash Activity accurately

• Proficiency in Check Processing is required

• Experience in Cash Applications is a plus
