Working within the Accounts Receivable Team, the Account Receivable Specialist will be involved in the investigation and recovery of outages for various accounts. The Account Receivable Specialist will assist the Team Leader with monitoring, and cash application for funds owed to the Company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Report, monitor and assist in the collection for defaulted payroll receivables and perform cash application
Assist in collection of activities such as sending regular follow-ups
Addresses and corrects any discrepancies with payroll account set-ups
Troubleshoot problem situations and work with other teams and departments to resolve promptly
Be available, approachable and willing to assist other team members and departments
Evaluating client requests and monitoring refunds in order to eliminate unnecessary exposure
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GEDExperience:
2+ years Banking and/ or Accounting operations experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in Business or a related field preferredExperience:
4+ years of Banking and/or Accounting operations experienceSkills/Abilities:
Basic knowledge of banking operations and reconciliation processes
Intermediate knowledge of Accounting
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
Proficient written communication
Work in a fast-paced environment
