Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to oversee the entire process of collecting payments from our client's company’s customers. The main responsibilities for this role include managing invoices, handling missed payments, and supervising our accounts receivable department. Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in both collections and accounting.

Responsibilities:

Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the accounting department's goals.

Analyze and monitor client payment plans and follow up on any late payments.

Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service on billing discrepancies and queries.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports.

Organize records of invoices, bills, and customer deposits.

Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law.

Supervise, train and mentor accounts receivable staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role.

Excellent understanding of accounts receivable procedures and collection laws.

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
