Description

　　Robert Half has a tremendous opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at a growing company. You will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in different ledgers

　　Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP

　　Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders

　　Test documents and codes

　　Communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization

　　Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

　　Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment

　　Requirements

　　General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Sales Tax

　　Knowledge of Collections

　　Aging Reports experience highly desired

　　Proficiency in customer invoices

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Adeptness in Aging Reports

　　Collecting Payments experience preferred

　　High attention to detail

　　Knowledgeable of ERP systems
