Accounts Receivable Specialist (QuickBooks Desktop Experience Required)

Are you a detail-oriented, collaborative and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with expertise in QuickBooks Desktop? Do you have a passion for working in a fast-paced distribution environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

Process and post customer payments, ensuring proper payment application, accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain, monitor, and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.

Perform collections efforts, including customer outreach for overdue invoices.

Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding accounts.

Partner with the sales department and customers to ensure proper recording of transactions and adjustments.

Prepare and deliver accounts receivable aging reports.

Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.

Requirements

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with other accounting software.

Experience in the distribution industry is a plus, but not required.
