Description

　　This growing company s seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to joining their dynamic team. Entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be essential for this role. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is a permanent position in the Byron Center, Michigan area.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Ensure accuracy of documents and codes

　　Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

　　Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced

　　Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required

　　Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers

　　Requirements

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　ERP system experience

　　Expertise in billing

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

　　Strong familiarity with cash posting

　　Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
