Robert Half is partnering with a client who is seeking for a temporary Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to cover a leave of absence. This is an extremely important role that is involved in managing both the company's accounts payable and payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

Management of accounts payable using Sage software: receive, code and process invoices with high precision.

Auditing and double-checking of invoices to ensure accurate charging.

Weekly check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Process payroll biweekly for all employees in Nevada and California

Daily mail collection.

Coding and entry of invoices into Sage.

Issuing of checks

Requirements

Experience in accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounting.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Proficiency in Sage software for accounts payable and Paycom for payroll processing.

Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with field staff and management.

Experience in multi-location payroll will be an added advantage.

Bachelor's degree in accounting highly preferred
