Description Robert Half is looking for an analytical and organized Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is ready to become an essential part in a team-oriented and rapidly-expanding company. This position is short-term contract / temporary. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Van Wert, Ohio area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.

　　Responsibilities

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Execute additional tasks as needed

　　Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

　　Carry out a full-cycle A/P

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

　　Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Journal entries experience highly desired

　　Command of cash reconciliations

　　Proficiency in Daily Reconciliation

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently
